Sometimes it just happens. You’re sitting in a meeting, sipping your coffee, someone throws out a crazy idea — and before you know it, everyone’s taking it seriously. “What if we gave away 10,000 bags for our 10th birthday?” A moment of silence, a burst of laughter, and then simply: “Yes! Let’s do it.” And just like that, the decision was made. No cake, no balloons — just a whole lot of joy in the form of special edition bags created especially for this celebration.
In September, we packed up, filled the van with bags (and yes, it was very full), and hit the road. Prague, Brno, Bratislava, Banská Bystrica, Szeged, Budapest, Krakow, Warsaw, Berlin, and Dresden. Ten days, nine cities, three girls and one big dream: to spread joy. Each city had its own atmosphere, each day its own story. And even though the nights were short and the roads long, that moment when we handed someone a birthday-edition bag was simply priceless.
But once you’ve seen that many smiles, you don’t want to stop. So we decided to do it again — this time at home. Roadshow number 2! Český Krumlov, České Budějovice, Tábor, Chrudim, Pardubice, Hradec Králové, Olomouc, Svitavy, Liberec, Jablonec nad Nisou, Mělník, Žďár nad Sázavou, Havlíčkův Brod and Jihlava. We were joined by the amazing girls from our customer care team, who swapped keyboards for handbags and shared joy face to face. It was lively, spontaneous, and most importantly — real.
