RE:VUCH products are the result of a collaboration between VUCH’s Czech design team and experts from the Faculty of Textiles at the Technical University of Liberec, who have long focused on recycling and innovation in the textile industry. Together, we searched for a way to give production leftovers a new life while preserving the distinctive style of our accessories. The result? Products made from the recycled textile composite TXB (Textile Board) that are not only visually appealing but also meaningful and story-driven.
Textile leftovers from the production of handbags and wallets are shredded in a multi-phase process into small pieces, then combined with a special natural resin into a mixture from which boards are cast. Each board is unique. Colors, structures, and patterns blend according to the original materials. Using milling machines, these boards are then transformed into specific products that give textiles a second chance while also serving as a striking design detail. The range includes handbag charms, brooches, and even wall clocks. Each piece is unique—no two are the same.
The TXB material was developed by the Department of Textile Evaluation at the Faculty of Textiles of TUL in cooperation with Diakonia Broumov. Originally intended for large industries such as construction or furniture manufacturing, it has found its way into small-scale fashion production thanks to VUCH. Together, we fine-tuned the entire technological process so that accessories could not only be designed, but also realistically produced and permanently included in our range.
RE:VUCH products demonstrate that sustainability doesn’t have to be an empty word. It’s a tangible step reflected in every detail. Each piece reminds us that even leftovers can hold value, and that Czech design can go hand in hand with a responsible approach to materials.
And that is precisely the magic of RE:VUCH. Small details that make sense, subtly catching the eye, backed by Czech creativity and know-how. Every product tells a small story—of innovation, sustainability, and creativity that gives leftovers a new life. RE:VUCH is not just a collection of accessories; it’s about thinking differently about the world around us, while choosing something original and sustainable.
